IBM and Future AI&IT Technology !

IBM found in Thailand early 1963. Fast forwarded, today at the global level, IBM business evolved from hardware into software, services, hybrid cloud, and AI, IBM Thailand also followed this shift.

Mr Anothai Wettayakorn has been appointed as the Managing Director and Technology Leader of IBM Thailand in early 2024.

This executive appointment is a part of IBM’s commitment to bring its cutting edge technology built on the foundation of trust, as well as its industry expertise, to support Thailand as the country sets forth to build productivity and competitiveness to drive its vigorous digital economy roadmap.

Anothai brings over 30 years of IT experience having held various leadership positions. Prior to joining IBM, he was the vice president of Dell Technologies’ business in the Asia’s Emerging Markets, overseeing operations in 28 countries. In this role, he was responsible for leading overall businesses, sales strategy, business development, customer and partner engagements across both public and private sectors. Prior to this, he held leadership roles at Dell Indochina and was the Managing Director of Dell Thailand, where he played a key role in growing the company’s customer base and strengthening its position as a leading IT vendor for Thailand and the region.
